Feature Request

  • Please add the ability to remove search queries from the log. There are a lot of requests from bots – they spoil the statistics and make it useless to view search logs.

    This already exists, but it’s currently a Premium feature for user interface reasons (it’s done from a search insights page that’s a Premium feature). I’ll have to see if I can add it to the free version. If you have lots of bad bot search queries, it’s probably faster to remove them directly from the wp_relevanssi_log database table, the user interface for deleting the queries is pretty slow as you have to click through them one by one.

    If you get that much bot traffic, it’s probably a good idea to add some blocking. Here are instructions for doing keyword-based blocking.
