    Hello,

    Thank you for the plugin. I have some backorder every now and then, and this helps to keep them organized and its better for the customers.

    I would like to make a request if possible.
    If I have any backorder, I manually email the customer to inform them of the date at which I expect to have stock again. I then also mention that they can receive the products in stock for an extra shipping charge. But it would be much easier if this showed up on the Checkout page.

    What I mean is:
    If there are any products in the checkout that are in backorder? Then show a box on the checkout that says “Would you like to receive the products that are in stock right now? The backorder products will be deleverig on a later date.” with a checkbox. If the custom box is checked, it adds a certain amount of shipping cost to the total.
    In my case it would at 7.25 extra shipping cost to the total sum.

    That way customer can decide for themselves if they want to receive the backorder-products on a later day, or just wait till the whole order is complete.

    With the WooCommerce Backorder Manager Premium version you can add a custom backorder description on product page and cart. This would help a bit?

    Thanks for the reply. I’m afraid I don’t read a confirmation of what I want to do with it. Only a description of is possible.

    Will the plugin allow me to add block with a checkbox on the cart/checkout page, that adds 7.25 postal cost to the order? (with my own text as description)

    Hi, it’s not possible to add extra (postal) cost to the order with the plugin.
