First of all, thank you for such a fantastic, simple, functional and clean plugin!

Have a little feature request. Could you include custom post type names (and even custom taxonomy names) in what is searched?

E.g. I have CPT called “pamphlets” which then contains various pamphlets as posts. Someone may search for “pamphlet on divorce”, and even though there is such a pamphlet, it won’t find it because the word “pamphlet” is not stored in the post etc…

    Hi Manuel,

    Thanks for the nice feedback!

As per your feature request I’ll keep it in mind as I’m reviewing the plugin as we speak to prepare it for WordPress 3.7, which will be probably released next week.

I have been thinking about your request and how it could improve the plugin search mechanism.

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to use the stopwords mechanism to include the words related with your custom post types (in this case “pamphlet” ). This way, when you would search by “pamphlet on divorce”, it would reduce the search to the term “divorce” thus delivering results.

That’s a great idea, thank you, I’ll do that!
