Feature – prevent selection of audiofiles from download (must be able to play)

    I just want to check if the plug-in does what I need it to do.
    I have a page of a singer, that wants selfhosted audio and videofiles to be listened to and looked at, but for a selection of those files they must be prevented from download… does your plugin offer that option for that? That is the only festure I am looking for… preferable to check/uncheck the option in the media library…

    • The video/audio file URLs are protected against direct access and search indexing

    Hi thanks for getting back. As I understand, to get that option, I must have a PDA Gold license for 179 USD/year, correct? If that is the case, that is a lot to think about, since this is only 10 out of 100 files … thanks

    Yes, your understanding is correct.

    PDA Gold is used to protect your audio files, and the PDA Protect Video extension allows clients to play the protected files.

    You can consider using our newest plugin https://S3MediaVault.com . It has a “Streaming” option which disallows people from downloading your videos/audios.

    For S3MediaVault, audios/videos needs to be stored on AWS S3.
