    I’m not sure what I did but the images under Feature Posts stopped showing on my front page. I know I must have selected the wrong option somewhere, but can’t figure out where. Help, please? Thanks in advance!

  • Hi @girlinspiring,

    Thanks for getting in touch, sorry to hear about the trouble!

    It looks like some custom CSS was added (possibly via the Customizer) that is specifically hiding these thumbnails…if you remove or comment out that CSS your images should reappear.

    If you still have trouble after this just let us know and we’ll be happy to help out! ??

    Hi Steven,

    I tried removing all of the custom CSS via the Customizer but it didn’t make a difference. ??

    Hi @girlinspiring,

    Sorry to hear that- here’s the specific CSS that’s causing the issue:
    .has-post-thumbnail img.wp-post-image, .attachment-twentyseventeen-featured-image.wp-post-image { display: none !important; }

    If you aren’t able to find it, feel free to send temporary admin access via support ticket and we’ll be happy to track it down for you.

    Have a great weekend!

    Hi Steven,

    Thank you for the help! I found the culprit. On the Dashboard, under Settings, there’s Hide Featured Image section with “Hide Image from all Posts(not Custom Post Type)?” and “Hide Image from all Pages?” options. I must have clicked “no” at some point, although oddly enough when I chose “hide featured image” on a post editor it didn’t affect the homepage thumbnails. =|

    Ah…gotcha. Glad you got it sorted, and thanks for sharing your solution! ??
