Feature box error in IE – The Object doesnt support the property or method “get”

  • Hello Anthony and Team,

    Recently we have got an error with feature box element of KC in IE11. If we want to add the “feature box”, the editing modal loads, but with incomplete content. “Select Icon”, “Display Button”, “Text Button”, “Link Button” are missing and we have an JS error in the console: kc.params.js (827,9), The Object doesn’t support the property or method “get”.

    We have WP 4.8.2, KC Version 2.6.15 and NewsPlus Version 3.0.1. (The same error arises on default twwntyseventeen theme too). Can you please check the JS file and update.

    Seem you are using very old browser. I recommend you upgrade to latest IE 12 or Edge for more process.
    Are you work for your site or develop theme?

    Hello Anthony,

    The browser being used is IE 11. The KC plugin shall support IE 11 (if not less than IE 9). I am a theme developer at themeforest (username SaurabhSharma). I am using KingComposer for one of my WordPress themes NewsPlus. It is important for me (and users of this theme) to get KingComposer working in IE 11.

    Can you please check the “Feature Box” element in IE 11 and confirm if it works. I appreciate any help you can provide.
