  • Great theme but with the latest release I keep getting the following error. The effect is the same no mateer whether custom permalinks are used or not.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘)’ …\wp-content\themes\iblog2\page.php on line 23

    Any thoughts?

    Brandaspect,

That problem is resolved in the 2.8.1 release available as of this morning.

This is an amazingly flexible, solid, elegant, yet simple theme. Their pro version is nice, too.

We’re using iBlog2 out of the box for our website. It works great!

Thanks Resourcesforlife, very much appreciated. I’ll reinstall with the updated version. thoroughly agreed in respect to the quality of the Theme, Spot on.

    cheers from Brand Aspect

May i ask what is new in the versions between 2.6.4 to 2.8.1 ( latest ) ? because i have arabized 2.6.4 and i’s hard to re-arabize 2.8.1 but if there any important changes i’ll do it .

Whats the best plug-in to enable drop downs?

    Thank
    Alex

    Hi,

Really nice theme, however the options page does not store the ‘options’ in the options table, I believe this was a change made in version 2.9??

    Matt

I’m having trouble getting the favicon to show up. I’ve put the full URL to the favicon.ico in the iBlog2 options, but the favicon hasn’t changed from the blank page. Any ideas?

@annkingman did you make sure the icon is 16 X 16 pixles? some browsers don’t support 32 x32

@lexacom I was also wondering about drop down page navigation. I really don’t feel like doing it by hand.

Great Theme it goes well with my site: https://Get-iSlate.com

    Hi,

The sidebar widgets (on main pages) are not-collapsable with Chrome.

    Aside from that, great skin!

    Software in question:
    iBlog2 2.9.4
    Chrome 5.0.307.11 beta

Why is this skin developed using PHP short tags? BAD BAD BAD….

I like the theme. Clean and easy to use.

    1) Is there a full width template?
    2) I would like to have a static area right above the posts but below the navigation bar. Is this possible?
    3) Is there a way to add the categories to the navigation bar? Or above/below?

    Thanks!

    Randy

When you select a page that has a page parent, the page is selected in black. Here’s what I’m talking about:

How to fix? I don’t want to upgrade my theme because I’ll lose all of my changes. Just tell me the code please

    Hi Yangt299

It looks like the active state of the link has been set to a background colour of black in the CSS. If you use firefox, use the firebug plugin to hover over the link thats selected and this should give you the info as to whats going on.

I am sorry not be more helpful but without a link to the site I can’t tell whats going on.

    cheers

    Andy
