    That is a good idea – i was thinking shortcode as well.
    I will add this and other improvements at some point.

    Shortcode feature has been added eg:
    [telnumlink]123456789[/telnumlink]

    Or you can make any HTML into a dialable number eg:
    [telnumlink "123456789"]<img src="phoneicon.png" />[/telnumlink]

    CSS classes still work – handy for elements in the templates, header or footer where no WYSIWYG editor can be used eg:
    <span class="mobile_tel>123456789</span>

    All these will appear on your site as telephone-dialling links on mobile device browsers – but no link will be added to desktop browsers.

    Hi stoatoffear, can you please tell me how to put mobile no. on wordpress main menu… i was useing same as above some thing like this [telnumlink]123456789[/telnumlink] or [telnumlink “123456789”]
    but its not working ??
