    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback…

‘Send every time’ and ‘no email please’ are both already in there… the problem with ‘Only in case of errors’ is that if no email arrives, then could mean either “no error” or it could mean “your backup didn’t work, but also your server didn’t work at sending emails either”. How can the user tell the difference between those two?

    Thank you!

‘no email please’ can be achieved by deleting my email address?
If so, please put a chekcbox under it: ‘only in case of errors’

    Donation goes…

I would also like to receive emails only when the backup fails (or when there is *some* failure*) – not all the time. It’s true that not receiving an email could mean that the backup succeeded *or* that there is a general server error, but I think that is our responsibility, not the plugin-author’s. I should have my server configured to send notifications if my server or SMTP app goes down. Also, if the server has such a dramatic problem that the backup doesn’t work *and* emails can’t send*, then it is likely that web pages aren’t being served, either, and I’ll hear about it from my customers.

I would like it if you added a feature to only send emails on a problem with the backup. it would make sense if you added a sentence explaining what you did above: that not receiving an email could also mean that the backup succeeded but something is wrong with the server.

    Thanks for your consideration.
