featered blocks on homepage

  • I’m looking for a solution to get 4 featured blocks on the homepage of my website. Each block needs to contain an image, small piece of text and a link to one of the pages of my website. Each block needs to be dynamic. The image, text and hyperlink of each block has to be easily adabtable by an editor.

    First thought is to achieve this with a widget. I’m not sure if there’s already some sort of widget that can do this? An other sollution might be to use four separate posts and use for each post the featured image as large image in the feature block (not sure if this is even possible)

    I hope you can think along for a workable sollution or maybe have tips for sollutions that already excist.
