Fearured images are not appearing on Pages (1.0.2)

    Featured images that I add to Pages are not appearing on the website.
    Interesting is that the same Featured images works on Posts.

    Why is that happening?

    thanks for using MH Newsdesk lite.

    This is normal as the theme won’t automatically add the featured image to the content of pages. Featured images for pages are only used to provide thumbnails for widgets/archives.

    If you want to display images within the content on pages, you can add the images by using the WordPress editor.

    Oh I see why I cannot see the image now ??

    Can you help me with editing the template so it displayes the featured image same way as it does for posts? I would really appreciate your input.

    If you are familiar with coding, you could create a child theme, copy the file content-page.php to your child theme and modify it as you like. Regarding the implementation of the featured image, you could have a look how this is done in the file content-single.php.
