I have Enable product sync option turned OFF but my products are still being synced to my Catalogue automatically when I publish them.

    How can I stop this?

    Really annoying…

  • Hi @joaopegb,

Thanks for reaching out to us, really appreciate it. ??

Would you please be able to paste your system status here so I can get a better idea of what might be going on? You can grab it by going to:

    WooCommerce > Status?and clicking on?Get system report.

    Thank you!

    Hi @joaopegb,

Thanks very much! I appreciate it. ??

Did you have a prior version of the plugin installed or is this the first version you’ve installed on your site? An older version of the sync may be causing some issues.

Thanks for any other info here!

It’s the first time I have installed it.

    Hi @joaopegb,

Thanks for the info here, I appreciate it.

Additionally, what are the product’s Facebook settings set to? I wonder if the product-specific settings might be overriding the more general one. Could you please take a screenshot of the product’s Facebook settings for a product that’s synchronizing that you don’t want to be?

Thank you for any other information!

Ok, I found out another thing.

Whenever I publish a product, its automatically set to “Sync and show” and it seems that this setting overrides the main “Enable product sync” setting that is unchecked.

    This is the problem.

    Hi @joaopegb,

Thanks so much for coming back to me!

If you set it to a different option other than Sync and Show, does that change get reflected in terms of what’s synchronized?

Thanks for any other information here!

    I’m sorry for the delay.,

But no, it does not reflect. Also prices are not synced correctly, have different currencies, etc.

It’s a mess really, no control over what FB is syncing and if the information is correct…

    Hi @joaopegb,

Thanks for coming back to me. Let me check with a colleague to see if they have any suggestions here.

    Thank you!

    Hey @joaopegb,

Thanks for your patience here, I appreciate it!

Would you please be able to enable the debug mode for the plugin? You can do so in the Facebook section.

Once you’ve enabled the debug mode, would you please start a manual sync? Then, you can go to WooCommerce > Status > Logs and find your Facebook log for that date and paste it here (or on snippi.com or whatever you like) for our review.

    Thanks so much!
