    I had someone set up the FB plug in for me last year, on three of my websites, only so I could have clickable product posts on IG (I could care less about selling on FB.)

    Ever since Woo Commerce took over the FB plug in, I have had nothing but problems.

    None of my feeds are updating. Variation images are being pulled over instead of main images, old, sold out products are still showing on FB WITH prices! Nice plug in!

    Since FB started their “new” Shops page, now, when I try to update my feed, thru Woo Commerce, it won’t recognize my existing shops on FB and instead the plug in wants to create new shops, or will only let me choose profiles that have nothing to do with the Shop I am updating.

    I already have hundreds of clickable posts/products on my IG account, so I do NOT want to set up a new FB Shops account.

    Can someone clear up this nightmare for me? Thanks.

    Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry that the plugin has given you so much trouble. Happy to help you with this!

    First, there is certainly some confusion surrounding the different shops that Facebook has available. I believe they will be consolidating this some over time, but there is a lot going on there now.

    The Facebook for WooCommerce plugin is designed to sync your products from WooCommerce to a Facebook catalog of yours. Which avenues this catalog are connected to (shops, IG, etc) is currently outside the scope of what the plugin is meant to manage.

    That being said, I’d like to find out a little bit more about the issues you’ve seen with products, prices, and stock status not being updated. This certainly falls within the realm of what the plugin should be handling for you.

    Would you please tell me a little bit more about which version of the plugin you are using and if you’ve had any issues connecting to your Facebook account? Are some of your products synced and not updating?

    Thanks for the quick response.

    I had drafted a full email for you, then realized I couldn’t reply via email!

    I don’t want to put all my personal info here, so if you want details and screen shots, can you provide me with an email address?

    I am using V2.1.4 right now, of the FB WooCommerce plug in (that isn’t working.)

    I can’t connect to my FB accounts at all, when trying to “reconnect” from the plug in. It wants to create new catalogs.

    Kind of hard to explain if I can’t attach screen shots.

    Looks like the last “new” products that came thru to FB were back in late July. Nothing has updated since then.

    I’m sure some of the issues are on FB’s end, but trying to get answers out of them, makes you want to pull your teeth out!

    To get a better idea of what you are experiencing in your site specifically, would you please reach out to us directly? This will allow us to gather some more context through screenshots and collect data like your Facebook email address and Business Manager ID.
