FB Share AND Like buttons with one counter – which is it counting?

I have Hupso set up to show counters on https://www.cookingnook.com. On the home page it is showing a FB Like button AND a button to Share – in the same Facebook blue. The count is beside the Share button. Is the share count the same as the like count? It’s confusing. There is no reference to a Share button for FB in Settings.
