FB scope pages_manage_posts does not exist in Consumer app type
-
Hi everyone,
SNAP Pro works just fine on the latest WordPress when sending to an FB Page is the case.
BUT, if we have to publish directly to user profile (like my own), then we need to use FB App type Consumer (otherwise, Business App does not list user profile in the list of available targets where to publish).
SNAP defaults “Authorize Your Facebook Account” link to https://www.facebook.com/v7.0/dialog/oauth?client_id=MYCLIENTID&scope=pages_manage_posts&state=nxs-fb-1&redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.MYDOMAIN.com%2Fwp-admin%2Fadmin.php%3Fpage%3Dnxssnap which throw following error https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pQeGBi6h_g7DPERJ8PdQrAdejyCacb10/view?usp=sharing
Invalid Scopes: pages_manage_posts. This message is only shown to developers. Users of your app will ignore these permissions if present. Please read the documentation for valid permissions at: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/permissions
So, can you please resolve this error, and also update SNAP compliant to FB API 9.0?
Thank you,
Aleksandar
