    Hey markkaz,

Were links displayed correctly before 10 days ago? Facebook recently changed their API and so I’m wondering whether they’re now restricting certain types of content from being available. Could you try the following and let me know whether it makes a difference?

    1) Log into your Facebook profile account and go to your Settings page
    2) Click on ‘Apps’ in the menu on the left hand side
    3) In the section which says ‘Apps others use’ check the boxes which say ‘My status updates’, ‘My photos’, ‘My videos’, and ‘My links’ and save the changes
    4) In WordPress, you go to the Custom Facebook Feed settings page and click ‘Save Changes’ so that it clears the cache

Let me know whether that makes any difference for you.

    Hi John,
All settings are correct as per your list above and the msg “Attachment Unavailable. …” is still there.
I understand that other ‘FB group feed’ developers have the same issue.

    Hey Mark,

It looks like Facebook has changed it’s API so that certain content now require a ‘User’ Access Token to be used in order to display them. Could you try following these directions to obtain a User Access Token which you can then use in the plugin. I tested with my own User Access Token and was able to display the attachments from your posts using it.

Let me know whether that solves the problem for you.

    Hi John,

The same issue with or without token. Am getting the same error even on your Pro Demo page for Group 1450567858550012.

    No problem with Pages.

    Hey Mark,

Could you send me the User Access Token that you’re using the form on our website?

    Hey Mark,

That’s an ‘App’ Access Token. You would need to obtain a ‘User’ Access Token. There’s directions on how to obtain one here. I’ve tested using your group ID and it allows me to display the attachments when using a user access token. I understand that it’s not ideal, but we’re at the mercy of Facebook changing things in their API and this is the only work around we’ve found.
