Hello I upgraded your plugin today but still have problem with Facebook feed.

As you may see at the bottom of the page https://booste-ton-karate.com/contact/
The feed is frozen on one image, and it is not clickable, nor are the I like and Follow button for the page.

The facebook widget used to be in blog sidebar as well, but I had to remove it cause no link worked in the sidebar anymore.

    thanlks for your help

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @oaz,

It appears maybe the ‘Wraps” or code around the feed may be causing an issue. I do see IG feed working in the right sidebar. If you are using a drag and drop builder or blocks, the shortcode needs to be placed in either “Text” widget or a Shortcode block.

This will usually resolve the issues with wraps overriding the feed source code.

Hello and thanks for your fast answer.

yes the website is built with divi and using a builder, the shortcode is in a Text module, as for Instagram which perfectly works

    Hi @oaz,

Try testing the same shortcode that isn’t working in another post or page just default and see it it works. If so, that will definitely let you know if the page builder is messing with the feed.

Yes, it does work in a page without the builder, but then I do nedd the builder for the rest of the page so what can I do ?

It was working with the builder last week…

    Hi @oaz,

Next step, try a different type of “Field” for placing the shortcode in. Does the Page Builder have another type of field like a content area or one specifically designed for shortcodes? Usually text fields work but sometimes page builders alter how the text field is output and this causes extra issues with shortcodes being output through them.

I put it in a “code” module. What is interesting is that when the builder is activated, it does work then, the links seem to be active (my mouse reacts the way it does with links and buttons), but when I close the builder, the frozen phenomenon is there again (no link, and can’t scroll down).
the feed keeps flowing though, it displays last post..

    Hi @oaz,

You may have to contact the page builder plugin or look through your docs and see how to effectively use shortcodes without interference of their plugin. Unfortunately, this is a common occurrence with page builders changing the standard output of WordPress.

Let us know how that goes.

Well I am afraid they just tell me to use some other plugin.
What is strange is it was perfectly working last week…

    Hi @oaz,

It’s possible the page builder/plugin could’ve made an update and there is a bug. I would definitely reach out to them. They may be able to offer more assistance as we do not know how they handle the output exactly. They’ll have better knowledge of that.
