FB doesn't pick up what i include in the meta descriptions

I have a similar problem.
I’ve added a separate title, description and picture for Facebook in the “social” tab. But when I post that article on Facebook, it does not crawl the right title, the right description nor the right picture. Basically as if I did not have the SEO Plugin installed at all.
The Facebook URL Linter does find some of the right information though. So there must be something. Facebook just doesn’t use it when I Link the article on Facebook – for whatever reason.

Same issue here , i cant even upload any image for the Facebook OG , the upload button simply wont work . Can you use the upload button to go to the gallery to select any image

im getting right title, the right description but no image after upgrading to WordPress 4.2.1 and WordPress SEO Version 2.1.1.

I have noticed that when i paste a link to facebook it doesnt fetch image,(when you click post it will only display thumbnail size) but when you schedule it it will display correct image size.

any ideas ?

I have the same problem as pilipk01.
I can see the correct title and description, it does show the right image in the og:image, but the image does not show up in the linked post, as it did before the wordpress and wp SEO update.

Same problem. No image showing on Facebook at all. It shows the correct image in the code but Facebook cannot fetch it.

I just posted my link in a facebook group and it did show a the image, after i posted the post, but the preview on facebook didnt show any pictures.

Also the debugger did not show the image in the preview.

I think my problem might be different than some. After the upgrade I had social sharing functions in jetpack stop working and the two problems seem to be related. At first the share counts would not show up. After I found a work around for that I lost my images.

I have disabled wordpress seo and deleted it and am currently searching for an alternate that will display the images correctly. I have used wordpress seo for maybe 2 years now but my loyalty is to what works and this does not seem to be working.

As an addition to Tumling79’s post above. I also got an image to show up by posting in a group. So maybe the problem is not just the plug in but Facebook as well.

The featured image for my blog post is not appearing on Facebook when I share it. Very frustrating. I’m not posting until this gets resolved.

After i have upgraded facebook app to Graph API v2.0 and the problem has been resolved for me.

give it a go and try if your facebook app is up to date.

The correct image and title show up for my post, but not the meta description. This was not the case before the latest WordPress update. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it.

My facebook image does not work but title and description works. How can I fix this? Do I need the facebook app? I removed it because it doesn’t work.
