FB Conversions API is missing User Parameters

  • I enabled server side tracking last night and included my Access Token and this morning I’m getting diagnostics warnings from FB Events Manager that two events I have setup are missing User Data Parameters.

    Missing AdvancedEvents User Data Parameters
    Missing ViewContent User Data Parameters

    Your server isn’t sending any of the necessary user_data parameter keys for your AdvancedEvents events. Without at least one of the below user_data parameter key for each AdvancedEvents event sent from your server, you won’t be able to use your AdvancedEvents events for attribution or optimization.
    This may cause issues with the attribution and delivery optimization of your ad campaigns.

    I’ll probably just disable server-side tracking until a fix is in place. Didn’t have these warnings until I enabled it.
