Favicon not working

Hi,

Yoast does not output the data to generate a favicon so our ability to support this is limited. We recommend the following actions:

1. Make sure the favicon meets these guidelines: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/appearance/favicon-in-search?visit_id=637490045278533033-3785984819&rd=1.

2. Contact your theme developer to make sure the favicon is being properly outputted and meets those guidelines if you are not sure.

3. If the favicon is correct, use Inspect any URL. This will force Google to update the index. This guide explains more:?https://kb.yoast.com/kb/fetch-as-googlebot/.

If Google still does not show it, we can only say to contact Google for more information. You may?contact Google by making a post on their forums:?https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/webmasters.

Thanks. I started from scratch with a new favicon.
Regarding to the image settings, should I choose:
“Allow search engines to display Media File content in search results” ?

Hello,

Allowing search engines to display Media File content in search results means your media file will show up in Google image search results.

We see https://toutpourmasante.fr/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/tout-pour-ma-sante-favicon.png as the favicon which shows on the desktop.

You may also want to reach out to your theme developer if the favicon does not show after a while.
