• Dear beautiful people. I love you all.
    Running Twenty Fourteen Theme:
    I have searched for days for solutions to this favicon mystery I have. It never appears. I only get this: “The image “https://www.selfcharm.com/favicon.ico” cannot be displayed because it contains errors.””

    I’ve tried entering these codes individually:
    <link rel=”shortcut icon” href=”<?php echo get_stylesheet_directory_uri(); ?>/favicon.ico” />
    &
    <link rel=”shortcut icon” href=”/favicon.ico” type=”image/x-icon”>

    into my header.php section under theme editor. It’s placed between <head> and </head>. Currently I have the “php echo get_” code saved.

    I also copied the WordPress favicon from wordpress.com/favicon.ico and uploaded the .ico file into my file manager in cPanel under:
    WpContent-themes-twentyfourteen..-images.

    The favicon.ico file is there. It’s been 2 days. I’ve cleared caches and used different browsers. Any idea what I could be missing? Thank you all so much for reading. I love you, though we’ve never met.<3
