• I put in a favicon that works fine in Google Chrome. For some reason Firefox and IE seem to pick up some other favicon for the site. I have tried clearing the cache for each, clearing the W3 cache in WordPress, and checking for other favicon.ico files in the WordPress root (there are none). Any help at all would be appreciated! Thank you! Site is https://www.lallabee.com

    The mystery deepens. On another site I work on with no favicon, Chrome correctly does not pick one up, but Firefox and IE both do. Maybe they are grabbing some random image, or the first image on the site?

    Still no answer about the favicon working in Chrome and not Firefox or IE. I’ve tried everything I can find online with no results. Has no one else been able to find an answer for this? Thanks for any help you may have.

    Still no resolution on this. Chrome seems to work perfectly.

    It is loading your Lalla-Bee-Banner2 image as the favicons in IE and FF for me.
    These are being called in the head
    <link rel="icon" href="https://lallabee.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Lalla-Bee-Banner2.png?8c4832">
    and just below that is the same image <link rel="apple-touch-icon-precomposed" href="https://lallabee.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Lalla-Bee-Banner2.png?8c4832">

    Perhaps finding what’s putting those there and manipulating them somehow?
