favicon does not show up on front end but shows on back end

  • I put a favicon in my blog https://www.BecomeAHospitalist.com
    I can see it appear while I am in the back end but as soon as I come to the front end, the hostgator favicon appears. It works well if I remove facebook like box. But can I make it work with facebook like box displayed in my site?

  • Hi Chandra. I’m not sure what the FB like box has to do with the favicon. If the favicon is being replaced by your host’s icon then I would contact HG and ask them why.

    Now that the Facebook links for like box are not working, my site favicon is showing up in the front end too. There is some relation between these. i guess.
