Favicon color

    Hi all, trying to set up a favicon in Lemmony, but had to use a plugin, tried a several of them and also functions.php, however there seems to be a problem. The favicon I upload is pink/white, but after opening the webpage on a computer, the color seems to invert to blue/black.

    Mobile / tablet version seems to be okay.

    Has anyone seen this issue before?

    Hi there,

    Have you tried to use the Site Logo block? It has the option to set the site favicon image without any plugins.

    Hi,

    yes, tried just now, but see no result, apart from a logo added to the page. In the description it also says that it varies from the web icon? Maybe I have just set it up wrong?

    Please make sure that the Use as site icon option is turned on for the Site Logo block. That may be the issue why it is not working

    Oh, I most definitely did not check that, thank you. However, it seems this might after all be a Safari problem, as the favicon looks good (and maybe always has) in Chrome and Maxthon, it only seems to do this in Safari so far. Thanks anyway ??

    In this case it is most likely the image issue. You could try modifying it or changing some image options, what might improve it

    Tried various .png and .jpeg files, but to no avail, sadly. Also tried to upload an .ico, but for some reason I am not able to. Might be a stupid question, but is there a specific format/options for the image to be met?

    We usually use png files that work just fine. So currently we are not sure what we can recommend, only you may try to upload fully different png files and see if all kinds of files have the same issue.

    I have the same problem with Favicon and Safari, did you solve it?
