favicon

I have succesfully downloaded the software to start the blog on my webpage wooooo :-D!!!
There are two things I am wondering about though.
My website https://mafgirl.com has a favicon.ico that works and displays in all browsers. However, it does not seem to work on my blog https://mafgirl.com/blog . Instead of my favicon, it shows a globe, assumingly from www.remarpro.com
How can I get rid of this globe and insert my own favicon?
I have already tried to put my favicon.ico in the /blog and in the
/blog/wp-content/themes/aeros/ but neither of them work. I also cannot find a favicon.ico or ANY other picture file that displays the globe. HELP!

Also, I was wondering if I can edit the CSS for the header and have a menu like on my website https://mafgirl.com . Without the flash,as I know that that doesnt work in CSS, but just a panoramic image and the links underneath, also not neccisarily changing of colour, I just want the page to look almnost the same as my home page so navigation to and fro is easy.
If this is not possible, how can I add links in the existing aero menu, and i mean up the top next to the home tab?
OR is it possible to add the html fro my menu in anywhere?
