fAvatar not showing in POST

I am using the theme Twenty ten. Out of the box it shows an avatar in the comments. But there is no avatar shown in the Posts. I am using the Avatars plugin, which allows me to upload local photos, and crop them. Even without using the plugin, the avatars show in the comments area only.

Any idea how I can get the avatar to show in the Posts?
