    Thank you for this plugin. It has been useful to me.

    However, I only activate it when I need to import. I don’t need the the scheduling function and I don’t like it because it creates cron tasks that run every 5 and 10 seconds (smack_uci_email_scheduler and smack_uci_image_scheduler).

    I would like to report the following bugs:

    1) This plugin adds cron schedules incorrectly.
    See filter SmackUCIInstall::cron_schedules()
    Quote from the WP Codex: “Be sure to add your schedule to the passed array, as shown in the example. If you simply return only your own schedule array then you will potentially delete schedules created by other plugins.”

    2) The cron task are not deleted on deactivation of the plugin. They hang around with an unknown recurrence. (Visible in WP Crontrol)

    Hi,

    Schedule import/update support is available only in the Pro version of our plugin. Schedule support is not available in the free version, hoping you are using are the Pro version.

    Thank you for notifying the problem. The above-reported problem is already available in our future development pipeline. We are releasing the new version next month, and you will get this problem fixed in the next version release.

    For more help, kindly contact support[at]smackcoders[dot]com, our technical support team will help you.

    Thanks.

    Thanks for your quick response. I am looking forward to the next version.

    I am using the Free plugin v5.6.1, and it currently does create the cron tasks and the cron schedules I mention above.

    Hi,

    Our Free plugin doesn’t have schedule import support. Still, we will check the functions with our WordPress development team and fix it in our next version release.

    Regards.
