Fatel error intermittent since update to 3.4

    Hi I have done the latest update today to 3.4 and i keep getting this error in the front and backend. If I refresh the page it works ok for 5 minutes then will pop up again. Anyone know what it is. My site has always worked without errors till now? Thanks in advance

  • Same here. I had to deactivate the plugin!

    Exact same problem for me, I am rolling back to the previous version.

    UPDATE: I rolled back and now it is working ok.
    Just to help with any fault finding im using
    WooCommerce which was also updated today 2.6.3
    Wordpress 4.5.3

    I’ve deleted plugin files via FTP, then installed a fresh copy within WordPress’s dashboard, all is good now and the plugin works.

    Is there any updates on this front? I have tried to update today in version 3.4.2, and still no luck, same problem. I would have hoped that after a month and 2 minor releases the problem would have been fixed.

    Does anyone know here if the Yoast SEO developers reply to comments here or should we ask the question on the Yoast Website?

    Have you tried deleting the plugin files via FTP and uploading a fresh copy as @hishaman confirmed this resolved the issue for him?
