    I’ve set up a bucket on AWS for backups, but I can’t get Updraft to connect. I am getting a message that says PHP error in the plugin. Here it is:

    PHP Fatal error (Error) has occurred during test_storage_settings subaction. Error Message: Call to undefined function Aws\strip_fips_pseudo_regions() (Code: 0, line 624 in /home3/peakantl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/vendor/aws/aws-sdk-php/src/ClientResolver.php)

    I have created a special AWS User for this, generated the key, created the bucket and given public permission.
    Can someone please tell me what the problem is? I am not a developer and am out of patience. I need to back up!
    Thank you!

    Hi,

    Could you add the following to your wp-config.php;
    define(‘UPDRAFTPLUS_S3_OLDLIB’, true);
