• I am getting the following error and not sure what to do about it?

    Fatal Error/Warning
Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘ABSPATHWPINC/option.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/treasure/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 8

    Any help would be appreciate

  • Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

Tried all that and still get the same error

I ma getting the error when i am running a plugin but the plugin makers say they dont know what is causing the error and it isnt related to their plugin.

So am a bit stuck at moment

Do you get the error when all plugins are deactivated?
