• I have built a new website using wordpress and currently have a website created with the Website Builder from Network Solutions. Last night I did a test to see how much time it would take to switch the domain name from the website builder website to my wordpress site. The switch was seamless except for the fact that certain images wouldn’t display. I reverted back to the old website and decided to research the image issue this morning and try again. I followed the network solutions guid to a T: https://www.networksolutions.com/support/how-to-change-wordpress-url/
    – where I think I messed up was I changed the home url to https://mysite.com and left the site url at https://mysite.com/wordpress.
I have not been able to access my wordpress site or log into it. I went to the PHP admin and reset the site and home url back to the https://mysite.com/wordpress urls and pointed the domain back to the old website. Since the I have received fatal errors when I try to access the WordPress admin login: like Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp() in /data/9/1/91/160/1743975/user/1884051/htdocs/wordpress2/wp-blog-header.php on line 14

I deleted the cache from today in the FTP file and my computer. Nothing has worked. I did talk to network solutions tech support but the system was down for maintenance and they couldn’t really help me.

I think If I could reset the urls in the general>settings section I would be back in business.

Is there a workaround to make this happen? Thank you so much for your time and help in this matter! I greatly appreciate this! Cheers!

These settings are stored in the MySql database. If you have access to phpMyAdmin, look for the table wp_options. The two options to check/edit are option_name = siteurl and option_name = home.
