  • Hi @yrisse3,

    It looks like wp-content/plugins/wordfence/wordfence.php is either missing or PHP doesn’t have read access to that file.

    Can you check if wp-content/plugins/wordfence/wordfence.php exists? And if it does check the permissions set on that file?

    Hi,
    We have just removed the wordfence plugin to find integrity of the website!
    We will look in detail what happened with your plugin, have you sent a bet in the last two hours?

    the last update breaks the site: 7.1.17
    the file is in the database
    the write rights are: -rw-r–r–

    wordfence.php: size 2611

    Same problem since the update from 7.1.16 to 7.1.17…

    We last night disabled your plugin and found an alternative security solution.
    Thank you for leaving us a message when we can re-install your plugin with a release that works

    Hi again you guys!

    On some hosts we’re getting reports that some files are getting erroneously removed upon update.

    What fixes the issue is to simply remove and reinstall the Wordfence plugin.
