fatal error with passster / 500 internal Server error

    can not activate passster plugin anymore, causes fatal error with message:

    Fatal error: Cannot use EAMann\WPSession\Objects\Option as Option because the name is already in use in /wp-content/plugins/content-protector/src/sessions/OptionsHandler.php on line 15

    automatic update caused the site to be down with an 500 internal Server error

    I have WP 5.0.3 running on PHP Version 7.0.11

    Hey @hooohn,

    thanks for your report.

    Can you tell me, which other plugins do you use?
    Maybe there is some collision with another one.

    Do you use Passster with the Captcha? Or Passwords?

    Normally you only get this message if you use Passster on a site with PHP version 5.5 or below.

    thanks for the quick reply!

    I discovered the failure (do not know if it occured during that) when I tried to update the site with WPMain. so WP Main child is one of the plugins installed.

    The site was down with the 500 internal error then.

    I deactivated all plugins and switched them on again once I could log back in.
    passster was the only one I could not re-animate. The error message shows up everytime I trie to activate it; wordpress does not let me activate it anymore.

    I released an update a couple of minutes ago.
    This should fix the upgrade problem.
