Fatal Error with new template

  • I am a relative newbie to this. I installed a new theme via FTP transfer and all seemed well. When I went to activate, I got this message:
    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class AudioShortcode in /home/merawin/public_html/wp-content/themes/affilotheme_2/affilotheme_2/includes/functions/shortcodes/media/AudioShortcode.php on line 4

    Now even when I log in to the admin site or even with the url for the site, I get that message. I cannot do anything.

    Help!

    Nevermind. I deleted the upload in filezilla and now I can get to the site. Still don’t know why the upload didn’t work, though.

    I am having the same error problem with the same theme. What did you do just not use the Affiliotheme or did you fix it?

    Gosh, I’m sorry I didn’t see this until today. I found out that I was not uploading the correct files. I found the answer on the Affiliotheme site itself.
