FATAL ERROR which i cant even have my first login to WP

Hi, I am new to WP, I was trying to install it step by step. But when I come to the stage about the “Run Installation”, it display following message:

Warning: require_once(/Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/htdocs/wordpress/wp-config.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/htdocs/wordpress/wp-load.php on line 39

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/htdocs/wordpress/wp-config.php’ (include_path=’.:/Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/lib/php’) in

I remember I have not did anything related to the files mentioned, what should I do now? I cant even login to the first page…….so sad.
