• Im getting this error when trying to run the install for the new WordPress 1.5.1:

    Link: https://www.tres.dk/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_bloginfo() in /customers/tres.dk/tres.dk/httpd.www/wordpress/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 304

I have not changed any settings in the wp-db.php file, so dont know what to do next.

Anyone know what needs to be done ?

  • Hi

Looks like this article shows similar symptoms – you have an error in your db connection info I think.

Check that all the info in wp-config.php is correct

I have checked the wp-config.php many times, and dubble checked it. And it is correct.

I have also tried to set up the database in phpmyadmin manualy, but still does not work. I still cant figure out what the problem is.

How are you moving the files between your computer and the website ?

Have you tried deleting all the files in wp-includes and reuploading ? (Note: delete first – do not overwrite)

What enviroment are you installing wordpress in?

    Is it Apache /IIS

What versions of PHP/MYSQL are installed on the website?

Ive have tried uploading with IE browser ftp, and FireFTP for FireFox

yes i have uploaded all the files a few times, all the time with the same result.

I am using phpMyAdmin 2.5.7-pl1 for mySQL support
Dont know what php version, but i guess its the newest

To find out more info about your host – ie what php/mysql/apache versions are there and what php modules are installed you could create a phpinfo page and post a link to it here (don’t copy and paste the whole output into these forums please.).
