Fatal Error When Embedding Video

    I wanted to embed a video onto the blog and was searching for a way to do this. I clicked on the plug-in tab on the left hand toolbar, and searched “embed.” I clicked on one of the menu options the search engine pulled up and received the following error message:

    “Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_current_screen() in /home/content/p/l/i/plianttech/html/blog/wp-content/plugins/embedly/embedly.php on line 230”

    I’m unable to reach the admin page for the blog now. How do I repair this issue?

  • Do you have access to FTP on your server?

    If so, you could just manually remove the “embedly” folder from the “plugins” folder. Theoretically that should solve your Fatal Error issue.
