Fatal error when clicking on 'Users > Your Profile'

    Plugin is activated and I can get a directory by inserting [employee] on a page okay.
    But when I click on ‘Users > Your Profile’ I receive the following error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_enqueue_media() in /home/content/40/8951840/html/employee-portal/wp-content/plugins/simple-intranet-directory/avatars.php on line 158

    The same error is received when trying to edit any existing user…

    Site is a private employee portal password protected, so cannot give link to the site.

    This is not plugin specific. That function wp_enqueue_media() requires WordPress version 3.5 or newer to run. Update to WordPress 3.5 to 3.9 and you should be fine.
