    PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method PostmanSendGridTransport::has_granted() in /nas/content/live/XXXXXX/wp-content/plugins/post-smtp/Postman/PostmanViewController.php:249\nStack trace:\n#0 /nas/content/live/XXXXXX/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(307): PostmanViewController->outputDefaultContent('')\n#1 /nas/content/live/XXXXXX/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(331): WP_Hook->apply_filters('', Array)\n#2 /nas/content/live/XXXXXX/wp-includes/plugin.php(476): WP_Hook->do_action(Array)\n#3 /nas/content/live/XXXXXX/wp-admin/admin.php(259): do_action('toplevel_page_p...')\n#4 {main}\n thrown in /nas/content/live/XXXXXX/wp-content/plugins/post-smtp/Postman/PostmanViewController.php on line 249, referer: https://www.XXXXXX.com/wp-admin/plugins.php

    I’m getting the above error (and I replaced the domain or install name to XXXXX to hide the domain name). It is a site on WP Engine, running PHP 8.0.21.

    Any direction would be helpful. Thanks.

    @fatherb @areimann Hi,

    We are looking into this issue, please share Post SMTP Diagnostic test report and in meantime, you can downgrade the version to 2.1.6.

    Thanks

    You can do the setup plugin from Wizard and then configure it, it will work.

    Thanks

    Nope – activating the plugin causes the entire website to crash. Something is wrong with the latest couple of versions. I can’t do a post-smtp diagnostic report as the plugin brings down the site. Tried 2.1.6 too and the same thing happens.

    Issue fixed, please take backup of your website and upload the Beta 2.1.8 plugin from here and test.

    Thanks – fixed and all going now.

    I’ve tried the new beta version, but the ‘Setup Wizard’ 2nd step ended with this error >>

    That’s a server-side security issue, talk to your hosting support and ask them to disable the MOD security, and then check and let me know about this.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Thanks for your answer Haseeb.

    We never had this problem before 2.1.7 update.

    Do you think a hosting company will disable one of their biggest security protection, because of a WordPress plugin? I’m not sure about that.
    I wouldn’t do that 100%.

    Just for a test we disabled MOD security on one website, restarted Apache (we are a hosting company) and nothing changed. I’ve got the same error as on the first screenshot.

    The 2nd step in the wizard >> click next >> error pops up.

    I was curious, so I went back to v2.1.6, v2.1.5, v2.1.4 all of them is fine with the wizard.

    Anyway, the plugin works well with the manual settings, so I will stop using the wizard for while.

    Hope you will have a solution soon.

    Thanks.

    Can you update the plugin to 2.1.9 and then test it? we have fixed this issue on the 2.1.9 version.

    let me know if it’s worked.
