My backups have been running sucessfully on a set schedule using Total Upkeep. However, when I access Total Upkeep in WordPress and click the Backups tab, I get a fatal error and an email is sent to me indicating that WordPress has caught the error.

Here is some info contained in the email:
    WordPress version 5.9.3
    Current theme: Zita (version 1.5.4)
Current plugin: Total Upkeep Premium (version 1.5.9)
    PHP version 7.4.15`

    Thanks, Gino

Hi @scamrp1ckleballclub – I’m really sorry to hear about the fatal error. I have a few questions I was hoping you could answer.

    1. Was this working previously, or is this your first time setting up Total Upkeep? If it was working previously, has anything changed recently?

    2. Usually the emails have an error message. Is there more to the email that you can share?

    Brad,

Yes, originally I was able to get to the Backup tab. But, it was a few months ago, so there has been lots of updates to the various plug-ins we use. I wanted to review the backups that have been occurring on a regular basis and delete the older ones.

The email that is sent does not identify the error. Here is the whole email that I received:

    “Howdy!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Total Upkeep Premium.

First, visit your website (https://www.scamrpickleball.org/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://www.scamrpickleball.org/wp-admin/admin.php?page=boldgrid-backup) and check for any visible issues.

Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.

If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.

    https://www.scamrpickleball.org/wp-login.php?action=enter_recovery_mode&rm_token=GfxyawVf0Uk4N7hGIeNDLU&rm_key=rjgk1i6pZTtF84Pu16NtNf

To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don’t worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.

When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
    WordPress version 5.9.3
    Current theme: Zita (version 1.5.4)
Current plugin: Total Upkeep Premium (version 1.5.9)
    PHP version 7.4.15″

    Hi Gino!

Based on the information included in the email you sent it looks like the problem might be coming from the Total Upkeep Premium plugin. Could you temporarily deactivate that plugin in your WordPress admin to see if that gets the Backups list working again?

If deactivating Total Upkeep Premium gets rid of the error then we would appreciate it if you could submit a Premium Support ticket through BoldGrid Central so we can continue investigating this problem. We are not permitted to provide support for premium products through this forum in accordance with the WordPress Support Guidelines and a Premium Ticket will be the best way to get in touch with our support team.

If the Backups list still throws an error with Total Upkeep Premium deactivated then the next step is to get the error message. Enabling debugging in your WordPress configuration to show the full error message and send it our way so we can review the information to see if we can figure out what is causing the error.

Thank you for your patience Gino while we work on this and I hope that we will be able to get this sorted out for you soon!

    Hi scamrp1ckleballclub –

I’m following up to close this topic. When working with your web host, we were able to identify a conflict with another plugin armember-membership that was resolved once that plugin was deactivated and reactivated. I’m setting this topic to “Resolved,” but please feel free to reply or create a new topic if you have any questions!
