Fatal Error when activating another plugin

    I am getting the following error when I try to activate the “WP Maintenance Mode” plugin.
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_blog_option() in /home/natsaik/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache-phase1.php on line 520

    the developer told me to list my error against this plugin?

    Please advise as I am new to all of this and I just want the maintenance mode plugin to work.
