    i installed “Scissors and Watermark”
if i like to use now the “Watermark”-function i got the following “Fatal error” alert:

<b>Fatal error</b>: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 10480 bytes) in <b>/home/www/web…/html/…/…/wp-content/plugins/scissors-watermark/scissors-and-watermark.php</b> on line <b>62</b>

after thr re-“define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M');” in thewp-config.php there was no change, the “Fatal error”-fault does appear always on ;-(

I just tested this plugin and it watermarked the images without any problem.

So its most likely a hosting issue. Does setting the WP_MEMORY_LIMIT in the wp-config file get over-ridden at the host level? Might want to check in more detail there. Maybe you can modify the php.ini file, I have had to make changes there on some hosts I have encountered over the years. You may have to email the host about this as well.

I ran into the same issue as I started to use the plugin more.

I uploaded 4 files, 3 were in the 300k range and it worked fine. The one that was closer to the upload limit, 1.9 mb threw a similar memory limit error. Resize your images before upload to 1200 px or so and maybe it will work as is while a solution is worked out.

    Hi,
you can also change the memory limit via .htaccess file if your hosting provider support this settings.
