Fatal error upon activation

    I’m also getting a fatal error, in my case upon trying to activate the plugin. I think it’s the same error as the other user though:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/tritownh/public_html/training/wp-content/plugins/simple-csv-xls-exporter/settings.php on line 157

    Any thoughts on why this might be? It’s an active client site, so I can’t deactivate all my other plugins as a troubleshooting step unfortunately.

    Did you ever use the plugin before, or was it the first time?
    What version of WP are you using?

    It was the first time. WordPress 4.6.1.
