I updated to 1.0b this morning and the results was a complete takedown of the site. I deactivated the plugin via FTP then tried to reinstall it via the repository. For this result: Fatal error: Call to undefined function AMQPChanneladd_action() in …/plugins/bruteprotect/admin.php on line 31

  • Yup, same problem here although it didn’t lock me out of the site. It just fails to activate. You might want to add the WordPress version you’re running to your initial post though. I just upgraded WP to 3.7.1 this morning along with BruteProtect to version 1.0b.

A file became corrupt on upload, but the error has been fixed. You were correct to delete it via FTP. If you reinstall now, it should be working.

    Thank you,

Thanks. The site was running 3.7. It is now updated to 3.7.1.

Bingo! Fixed. Thanks. This is a really important plugin for me. I have sites undergoing thousands of attacks that BP is logging.
