fatal error updating time.ly calendar

I reloaded an older version of the plugin and my site is back up. However, it seemed like a good idea to have the most recent version of the plugin running. Is anyone else having trouble updating Time.ly?

Hi, I am having a similar issue, but I can’t get back to the page with the error and it won’t even let me get into my WordPress dashboard because now whenever I go to the site and/or dashboard it will only display the error below, the site is completely down, so I can’t follow the instructions here https://time.ly/document/user-guide/troubleshooting/perform-manual-upgrade/
Not only that but when I go to my ftp, there is no such file uninstall.php ??
Please advise, my client is not going to be happy about their site being down :-/

I love the time.ly calendar, but because of the problems I’ve had with the calendar updates, I now only update after I back up the site. When the site crashes as a result of a calendar update, I go into the back end via filezilla and remove the time.ly plugin folder (“all-in-one-event-calendar”). You can actually just rename it (i.e. put a one after the name “all-in-one-event-calendar1”) if you are nervous about removing it. Then I check the site and make sure it works. If it’s all good, I upload the old version of the time.ly calendar folder (from my backup). While this is not very efficient, it is the only way I have been able to continue using this product. Benjamin (above) did suggest updating using filezilla. I haven’t tried that, but it would certainly be faster than my work around.

Thanks Ripple Web Design – thankfully I was able to get the site back up by doing what you had done, but I am a little nervous to update now. I haven’t had issues in the past updating time.ly but I will certainly be more careful from now on!

Just a further note. I have since followed Benjamin’s advice and uploaded the latest version via FTP and it has been successful. Of course, I still backup before I update anything!

On this last update, because I fixed the problem pretty easily with a back up last time, I tried the automatic update and thankfully it worked fine!

Updated in February and since then, cannot make it works. Having the same issues. Tried the manual uploaded and nothing.

Any idea where can I find an older version of this plugin? Love it, but if it is not going to work….
