• I’m having a domain called seguro-de-responsabilidad-civil.es and a subdomain called prueba.seguro-de-responsabilidad-civil.es.

I used the subdomain to set up and try different styles for my website, and now that I have it, I’m having problems when uploading the files to the main domain.

From my FTP server, I downloaded the whole directory of prueba.seguro-de-responsabilidad-civil. Then I made the proper changes on the database and onto my hosting server and uploaded the directory again under the name of seguro-de-responsabilidad-civil. However, when I access https://seguro-de-responsabilidad-civil.es/ there’s a Fatal error message that I’m getting all the time. Honestly, I don’t understand why, because it is working perfectly fine on my subdomain.

This is the error I’m getting:

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function untrailingslashit() in /homepages/3/d413881110/htdocs/seguro-de-responsabilidad-civil/wp-includes/option.php:136

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Is this on a multisite? Why didn’t you just rename the subdomain site instead?

If this isn’t a multisite then did you move the database over also? Did you set the wp-config to the proper database when you moved the files?

Did you edit the database for the main site’s database?

I didn’t rename the subdomain site cause I’d still like to have that subdomain to run tests over it instead of the main page.

I imported all the data from the subdomain database onto the main domain database, and set the wp-config properly to point to the domain database.
