Fatal Error – Unable to log into site even the Dashboard

  • New to WordPress and was working well on my site until I received the following fatal error. Now I can’t even get to my site to make any changes. Everything I try, I get the same error. Fatal error: Call to undefined function xprofile_insert_field_group() in /home3/ryanhannah/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bp-profile-widgets/bp-profile-widgets.php on line 435

    I have been looking here for answers and I am not familiar with any of the terms/code or jargon in order to fix this. I sent a help ticket to my host, but haven’t heard back from them. I kinda want to start over, but unable to uninstall WordPress to reinstall. I chose WordPress because I heard it was easy for people like me who do not know anything about coding.

    Ryanhannahink.com comes up fine for me. Is it just when you try to log in, or did you get it fixed?

    As far as your choice in platforms, you chose well with WordPress. It will take a little work and becoming familiar with it, but it is the best out there.
