We had some 25 sites go down last night.
This is the error that Chrome displayed:

    This Page Isn’t Working

domain.com is currently unable to handle this request.

    HTTP ERROR 500

So I started reactivating plugins one by one. WE found this plugin to have the error below. As long as we deactivated it, the sites would come back online.

Do you know what caused it? …and whether we’ll be able to use them again?

THanks in advance for your response

I’m really sorry to hear about the websites going down.

The issue was from code (an empty() function contained functions) that doesn’t work on PHP < 5.5. The plugin was developed and thoroughly tested on PHP 7.1 and 5.6 only.

The code has been fixed and released in v1.0.1, but I’ve yet to verify. I’m currently setting up a PHP 5.4 environment to personally confirm.

I’ve setup a php5.4 server and I can confirm that the plugins most recent update, now 1.2, now works on older PHP 5.4 servers.
