Fatal Error still a problem

  • I just uploaded the Whizzy plugin, as I’m using the Whizz theme on my WordPress site. However, whenever I attempt to activate the Whizzy plugin, I get a fatal error message. I noticed this plugin has not been tested with the newest version of WordPress – could this be part of the issue?

    I have already done the whole de-activating of all other plugins – still gives me the fatal error. I’ve also tried deleting and re-installing – same result.

    Would really appreciate some help here, as I’m unable to use the Whizz theme until I have that plugin functioning.

    I tried several time to install whizz from the downloaded zip file themeforest-20234560-whizz-responsive-photography-portfolio-wordpress-theme.
    I am working on a new wordpress site 5.2.1 and I could not install the theme. The error message is this one, in french:

    “Installation du thème à partir du fichier : themeforest-20234560-whizz-responsive-photography-portfolio-wordpress-theme.zip

    Décompression de l’archive de l’extension…

    Installation du thème…

    L’archive n’a pas pu être installée. Le thème n’a pas de fichier style.css.

    L’installation du thème a échoué.”

    It says that css files are missing
    I downloaded and tries four times for the same result.

    Can anybody help me ? (in french best than in english!)
