• Hello, I just updated the AWS plugin and after several hours running, my website now returns a blank screen.

After enabling debug mode I can see the fatal error that is making this:

Warning: require_once(/var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/amazon-web-services/vendor/aws/aws-autoloader.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/amazon-web-services/amazon-web-services.php on line 47

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/amazon-web-services/vendor/aws/aws-autoloader.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear’) in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/amazon-web-services/amazon-web-services.php on line 47

If I go back to a previous version of the plugin (0.3.5) this never happens. Can you please fix this or advice me on how to fix it?

  • Have you tried re-installing Amazon Web Services? That error suggests a file is missing.

I’m also now getting this and I’ve reinstalled twice. Please can someone help?

Is it possible to get a previous version of the plugin?

I should add I reinstall the plungin it works and then the next morning i’m getting the same error messages. So have to reinstall again.

I’ve had a look further into this and aws-autoloader.php is getting appended with .suspected so aws-autoloader.php.suspected

Anyone have any idea what’s happening here. It only started a couple of days ago

Do you have any security software installed on the server? This sounds like antivirus or something is trying to block the file.

This is what I’ve said to them as well. Either that or the site’s been compromised perhaps. Just in the process of following up with them yet again. Thanks for your feedback, it’s good to know I’m thinking on the right lines.
